ABOUT MY BLANKS

The Rod Shop in the Catskills.

I work alone; all products are produced by my two hands. Blanks are limited by my production time. There is no catalog, you must call for availability.

Blanks in the string are straightened, but will need more straightening.  They still have the binding string on them, the glue and bark must be sanded off. 1977 Picture of Ron fishing the Beaverkill,
while he was Vice-President of H.L. Leonard Rod Company.

Blanks that are ferruled will have been sanded smooth and polished.  The ferrules are mounted and then fitted.   The Tip Top is installed and the Blank marked for guide side.  The blank is straightened.
